Sorry to derail the thread (as a mod I should know better),  but I can't help myself.  That 55 is WAAAAAYYY overcrowded.  That tank is not large enough for even one of those fish.

Buttis are absolutely fearless and outrageously aggressive. Better still, they are incredibly resilient. They'll take a beating for a long time, and then when big enough, they will turn the tables and PUNISH whatever was picking on them.

Now for a little derail. Those oscars are seriously outgunned. You'll need to keep a close eye on them. The devil is capable of killing them both overnight.

May I ask what size tank they are in?

Don't laugh at me but they were all in my 55 gallon tanks. They surprisingly getting along great.  I think maybe because all of them are aggressives.  but the buttis is like a ninja.  after 5 minutes, it started to pick a fight with the flowerhorn.  I have to separate the Buttis into a smaller 20 gallons for now.

It is now waiting for adoption on GCCA Classified West Africa section.

Here is a pic of the tank with the 2 oscars, red devil, and flowerhorn.

Any front you want to put with it, would be meat.....They are one of the meanest fish around....I know of a 12" one that killed a 15" Male Dovii...

Nuthman~

Thank you.

It was so mean.  I have to put it in its separate tank for now.  I left it in the tank of flowerhorn 8", red devil 7", and 2 big tiger oscars.  It went ahead and start fighting with them who are much bigger.
