2+ years. Good time for an update! Lots and lots of fish have gone thru the basement since the last update, as well as a dang near complete basement remodel!

As of 6/9/2012:

7x2x2 - 210g - 1 Wild from Columbia Hoplarchus Psittacus, 1 Pearsi (going to Kieth to tomorrow), 4 silver dollars, 3 bumblebee cats, 1 snowball pleco, 1 striped Raphael, 1 BN pleco, and "hopefully" a m/f pair of wild Oscars from Peru

6x2x2 - 220g - 2m / 6f and one unknown Cyphtilapia sp "North", 3 synodontis angelicus, and 4 BN Plecos (RIP Chopper)

125g - 8 Moba Frontosa (looks to be 3m / 5f), 1 pair of Alto. Compressicepps "Chatika orange"

125g - 6 Samazi Frontosa (looks to be 2m / 4f), one Alto. Compressicepps "firefin"

125g - 13 Kitumba Frontosa (7 going to Barley Pop tomorrow), m/f pair of Julie Ornatus, and a whole bunch of little syno petricola!

125g - 8 Mpimbwe Frontosa (now breeding), 1 Black Alto Compressicepps, 12 syno petricola

55g - 1 pair of Tilapia Snyderae (going to Don Weger tomorrow)

40br - grow out - 6 Hoplarchus Psittacus, 2 Chocolate cichlids

40br - Thriving colony of Lamp multis

75g - 14" Wild male Kitumba (eventually to be introduced to Kitumbas in 125 above.......when they are large enough not to be a snack!)

10t - group of self cloning marbled crayfish

Let's update this considering it's as out of date as Nuth's taste in music!

210 - 1m/4f Champ. Caruleus, 1m/3f Fosso Rostratus, 1 Paratilapia Bleekeri, 1 Pink Oreo Mosambiccus, a group of blueberry botias,  some bn plecos and a black tailed shark (don't ask)

220 - 2m/5f Burundi frontosa, 3 Syno Angelicus, bn plecos and a soon to be returning home 15" Prochidilus (Easier to keep this fish than go thru divorce)

125 - 6 Rotkiel sevs, 2 turquoise sevs, 3 wild oscars, 1 pike, 2 bumblebee cats

90 - Mixed african community

90 - 21 Tropheus Ilangi, a bunch of bn plecos

75 - 6 gold severums, bn pleco

55 - Red top tapajos, geo altifrons, 2 african red eye tetras, 1 gold gourami, 2 bumblebee cats, bn pleco

40L - 1 pair wc Hemichromis moanda, and a 3rd wheel male,  3 tilapia snyderae

40br - 4 chocolate cichlids, 4 whiptail cats, 4 wc blue acaras, 2 bumblebee cats, bnch of bn plecos

40br - 5 dovii, 1 texas cichlid (situation tenuous at best - dovii growing and beginning to view EVERYTHING as food!)

40br - 60 newly free swimming fossochromis rostratus

30l - Thoricthys meeki juvies, 5 cylindricus, 6 bn plecos

30l - 5 Lamprologus firefin compressiceps, 2 juvie Champ Caruleus, bn plecos

40br - empty (blue acaras maybe), or incoming pearsi from Don W.

29 - 2 (possible pair), koi - pearlscale angelfish, 3 Hongi peacock juvies,  bn plecos

20l - A whole bunch of Lamp. Multifasciatus

20l - A huge amount of Oreo. Tanganicae and rostratus juvies

5 - Trio of purple moscow guppies and 2 batches of fry so far

55 - Silver dollars, Blood parrots, 2 palm trees and a really cool volcano!

Sawboy, the orange back dolphin is a nickname for Gephyrochromis moori, not Cyrtacara moori. Which one do you have?


Sam,  I stand corrected.  They are in fact Gephyrochromis moori.  Thanks for the heads up!

I am glad we had the nice weather.  With diesel at almost $5/gallon I had to drive the Toyota.  No heated seats for the passengers.
