I'll need you guys for some references some day I'll work for you lol. I'm only 17 and I worked at a grocery store in the summer.  Now during school, I'm focused on getting solid grades. But in the future I'm deciding on Computer Science, marketing or accounting.

Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. I am currently working for the phone company as a Central Office Technician. I have been here for almost 7 years. I was one of the lucky ones that got laid off at the Motorola plant in Harvard, but I thank them for it.

i know alot of ppl in your boat or in a boat like it.........4 or 5 of the guys that i ride motorcycles with and my aunt and her roomie all were let go from motorola in harvard.......

also when i was at black hawk tec. there were alot of guys in my HVAC/R class and in the tech school that were let go from beloit corp, a company that that built paper printing presses if i remember right. anyways the company that bought out BC packed it up and sent it to china so they had to pay for thier schooling and a crap load of other stuff too (books, tools, gas and even paid them to go) i know at the time i thought they were abusing the system but now that i think about it the company deserverd that for doing what they did to those ppls jobs i had family members and friends family members involved in that too....

after high school i went to work for American Lock Company in Crete. i worked there for a little under 2 years and went to become a machinist. i was an apprentice for about a year and was laid off from that job in april of 2001 and rode unemployment until august which is when i went to Western illinois University. i recieved my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science in May of 2005. after not being able to land full time employment i started my masters of management in Public administration and completed that degree in February of 2008.

i Currently work for a staffing company and am placed at Pactiv packaging solutions in Vernon hills, in the claims department food service division.

while pursuing my undergrad i was focused on working in the non-profit sector, and i eventually hope to some day work for a non-profit company. can ya help me out whetfish?

I work at Northwestern University...working my way up the non-profit ladder, the business and finance side of it.

Sawboy, I had a brief stint at the CBOT as a runner so I got a good mental picture of what you do, never been to the Merc though.

I never saw the beer forum outing but it sounds like a good time.

Not checked for facts.
