Negative Karma for rule enforcement is a badge of honor :)

SWAP WAS REALLY GREAT, THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF!

There were some hiccups, but there were a ton of fish buyers pouring in to buy lots of fish. A BIG THANK YOU to Bob Chrimpes and all his staff for volunteering time to and working hard to make this event happen. Next swap we will have to have some roped cattle-pen lines going down the long halway towards pool for lines of people like this show!

Thank you from Carl Dunkovich - Ococomowoc, WI and Phil Salant - Madison, WI

P.S. I apparently have a -2 karma for advising of issues with registration, if someone would be so kind to hit the + I sure would appreciate it. I do not want to have any negative karma coming my way, only positive. Thank you, Phil B)

Are you looking for volunteers? I could help watch the door at the beginning.

B) Thank you Kathy. I wish people had more fish stuff to talk about then half tables. I find I do not have a fish tank large enough to put a half table in

Steve,

That is definitely the PROPER way to offer that table, to a member who is on the waiting list. It has EVERYTHING to do with being a member.

There really is no proper place in the classifieds to "sell" 1/2 a table as when you registered it is required to check the box stating that you have read and understood the rules of being a vendor, in the rules it states that no table is transferable and that you are responsible for said table and since that would be an illegal act it therefore cannot be put up in the classifieds.

My best and only suggestion is that if you got a table and either cannot use it anymore or wish to share your table with someone is to immediately contact the swap chair and find out if there are any members out there on the waitlist that would like to share a table first before it is offered up to the general public seeing that you had gotten the member price and early sign up

Change the TOS. He isn't trying to transfer responsibility, just split the cost.

This sounds like a bad policy. The guy who rented the table is still on the hook for the $. He is just trying to split his cost. It shouldn't have anything to do with the guys still on the list.

It would be nice if a list of the venders and what they will have was posted in a easy to find location and in a timely manner.
