BAP bags for the next meeting....

--Assuming I make it to the meeting - which is never a given - I will be bringing two BAP species. First is Pseudotropheus elegans "Tanzania Black" (formerly P. sp. 'acei').

The second is Neochromis omnicaeruleus "Makobe" from Lake Victoria. Pictured is one of my females. The males will be either a solid blue color - very nice - or a mottled black and blue pattern - also very nice.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Spring is finally here, and with it I have some very cool BAP bags for May meeting:

First some very cool Malawian mbunas:
Metriaclima callainos aka Cobalt Blue


It took me awhile, but I was finally able to breed these guys,
Crenicichla compressiceps or Green Pike
This is a small, dwarf Pike specie that doesn't grow more than 3". They are nasty to each other, but you can keep them with pretty much anything else from South America.


From lake Volta in West Africa I got bag of:
Chromidotilapia guntheri
I couldn't snap nice picture of these guys, so I had to steal picture from Jason. Guntheri from Jason's picture is actually a grandfather of fry that I will bring to meeting.


and of course some Tanganyika's:
Albino Neolamprologus brichardi


and some White Altolamprologus calvus Chaitika


So come to the meeting on Sunday May 18. Brian Perkins will be there talking about Peruvian Amazon Basin.
Also don't forget to bring your 60 days old fry BAP bags, because we don't have BAP in June.

So I say to her……There is plenty of stuff at the house for the baby to eat!!!! I REALLY need this fish……

I will have a large group (10 - 12) of Tropheops sp. Olive Tiger available probably for the april Meeting. They are free to BAP'ers. I can split the group if 2 people want them.

For Febrrrrrrruary meeting I got:

Two very cool Apistogramma species
Apistogramma bitaeniata sp. 'Shishita'



and Appistogramma sp. Pebas



and from lake Tanganyika
Julidochromis ornatus

I think I'm going to have come Acei, Elongatus, maybe some red shoulders, Sunshine peacocks. And maybe something else if i find something while i'm fish for those.

1) Haplochromis sp " Fire red Uganda"
2) Tilapia snydere
3) Pundamillia Blue Bar Hippo point
4) Yssichromis sp " Blue Tipps"

I have a group of 6 " Fire red Uganda" Free to any active BAP member ......Just let me know and I will bring them to the meeting ....
