I picked up...
A bunch of Herichthys cyanoguttatus 3" and Thorichthys meeki 1" from Scott (baldtaxguy).  I can't wait for the texas to change to breeding dress and the meeki to color up.

A Trio of Astatotilapia burtoni from a different Scott (wilpir).  They came with the following breeding instructions: just add water.

Six gold ocellatus from Juny (leej24).

I was supposed to pick up some glass lids from Jeff(aquaticclearity) but I forgot to... :-

Other than that it was great chatting with a few club members before I hightailed it out of there.  I had to set up tanks for all of the fish I got.

Not checked for facts.

I got lots of stuff, mostly pre-ordered.  Probably a good thing, because I didn't get there until noonish.  I was up all night setting up more tanks, and still didn't get everything quite as ready as I had planned (typical..)  After I got back, I was still working on the tanks while the fish were trickle acclimating...

from Jeff Michels (on the Atlantis order):
2  Malawi Blue Crabs- these guys are huge!  Pics coming soon..
5  wild Black Calvus 'Congo'
1  Eretmodus Makobolo 'Congo Blue Throat' -  this was a surprise, he brought one more to add to my group of 5!

from John Oyer:
7  Frontosa - 'Blue Nangu'
12 Yala Swamp (Victorians)
4  Neolamp. meleagris
8  Neolamp. tretocephalus

from Pete Durkin:
4 adult Syno. multipunctatus
8 Neolamp. brevis 'Sunspot'
7 Australian Desert Gobies

I bought a big pile of assorted dry goods, too.  Very cool stuff!!

Didn't buy anything this time around. But had a great time, really enjoy working the auction table. Scott it was great working with you this time around. Maybe next time we'll be able to add.  :D  Was hoping to find some overflow boxes and pumps, maybe an old tank for a sump . But most were gone by the time I made my rounds. Oh well next time.

Thanks Bob for a great run event.

It was a nice swap, on the other hand i was not happy to wait in that long line to have to get out and buy a ticket in the other line. They really needed a bigger sign, that was my only disappointment.

But i picked up for my show tank...

1 Male Eureka
1 Male Albino Eureka
1 Male Ngara Flametail
1 Male Electric Blue Alhi

All from Rick Boester. All amazing, couldnt have picked a better person to buy from, i knew he couldn't disappoint!

Also picked up some stuff for my saltwater tank..

5-6 Blue Mushrooms
5-6 Red Mushrooms

From Terry

All in all a good swap!

Greenwoodochromis christyi are one of the deeper water predators out of Lake Tanganyika. I think they max out around 6-7" or so, but other then that don't know much about them.

Howd everyone do and what did everyone get?

i pretty much sold out everything. only came home with 2 or 3 bags of cichlids and 2 bags of angels. stuff i got was:

bag of 6 gold morph HRP
2 female albino longfin BN plecos
1 albino red zebra (i think its an albino greshakei)
1 greenwoodochromis christyi (random....no clue what this fish is. anyone know what lake it is?)
nice piece of holy rock for a future display tank

so this was the best swap in terms of getting rid, downsizing and not keeping a lot of fish for me. if anyone knows anything about that greenwoodochromis's let me kno. im not sure if its a male or female.

WOW!
That was great first time swap. Got there as the doors opened. Holy Crap there was a lot of people I never knew.... I picked up a med sized drift wood at Jeff Michaels table the prices beat any price ive seen yet. I also got some dry goods nothing realy exciting.  I have only two disapointments of the day. One, I waited to long to decide one a $5 ten gal and lost the chance. Second there where so many people that I didn't get to talk to anyonefrom the assosiation, that I know of anyway. By the time it thinned out my 4 yr old son had had enough.

All in all give cudos for a great event it was worth the hour trip and two hour wandering adventure. I will be going to the next one.  Great Job!

Yes fantastic job, I got there right as the room was full and the line was still out the door. I ended up getting a breeding trio of albino guppies and 3 blushing koi angels who have adapted very very well to their new home. Selection was great but left without fish I came seeking, bad part is the wife isnt home yet my punishment is still coming.

Met Chris from WCD, very nice man and very nice fish, he was quite popular, I think next swap I am going to wait until noon to come pending I dont need any equipment.

Two of my fat thumbs up to GCCA and their partners for a wonderful FAMILY event, yep we had 3 generations of fish keepers at the swap.

Great job, Bob, and all the members of GCCA. The venue is great and there was plenty of aisle space to handle the huge crowd. Just a thought... are there plans on having another Swap this Spring to replace the one that was cancelled?
