No mate yet. I've been on the downlow. What originally was thought to be a pulled hamstring has turned into back surgery for a herniated disc in my lower back. Bnd asically i am down to my last 2 weeks of getting better b4 they screw a bar in my back.

Yeah-She teams with the barred sagittae male and they turn into nightmares. Amarillo pair have been the only ones able to keep them in check over the last year. Cause of my back I am probably going to have to downsize alot. I am trying to get it down to only Amphilophus and Astatheros and then see where I am at. If I have Surgery I am out for the majority of 9 months and can't ask my 17 year old daughter to change 20 fish tanks and a pond for me. 3 friends have stepped up and said they would come do it, but 2 live between 20-35 miles away and the other an hour. Plus theres only that I think would show up every week and shes like 5'4" at the tallest. Plus after my back crashed 1 of my Amphilophus tanks sprung a leak on the bottom and I painfully (for a few diff reasons) had to throw them in my 165 gallon pond. So I have no idea what kind of shape they r in. I know none have died, but I can barely change the water with a mini sump let alone dig fish out. I also know there atleast part of a batch of hybrids which I gave a scoop to a flowerhorn breeder (my opinion fh are already hybrids anyway so I didnt see any harm in it) and have only managed to catch 4 to feed to the arrowana that isnt smart enough to catch them in an empty tank lol. Sorry to rant everyone I am just getting a little behind. I still have 2-3 inch costa ricans for Scott and then twice as many 1/2 inchers from another batch still in a community tank. Plus a handful of xiloas and I had another batch that I used as feeders. Plus my Altifrons pair died from something 2 weeks after I got rid of their last 6 fry and probably missed out on my opportunity to get some Alfari. Oh yeah Longimanus spawned also. Thankfully they have only had small clutches so far. Another thing, same thing that killed my Altifrons killed 5 of 6 Lyonsi. Some how I spread this crap to 3 other tanks that killed off 2 pairs of wild caught Cauquetia Kraussi also. Here I am barely able to walk lol trying to change the water and fliters every 3 days (water more often than filters) and properly treat them every way I know how. And I got my butt kicked by it. Couldn't stop it from spreading. Life of a fish keeper I guess lol.

I had these once.  TUIC had 6" f1 for sale.  The bags punctured en route to my house, both were still alive.  Then the male savaged the female.  This was 5 years ago or so.

Great fish.  Brutal, but great.
