Most likely from Old World Exotics but not sure what Perez's final thoughts are.

If there will be a list it most likely will not be available until the fish are ordered or actually received.

The fish are most likely ordered the week of the auction and the fish typically dont arrive until thursday or friday just before the meeting.

Typically wholesalers fish are pretty dynamic and hard to predict what they will have in stock.

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "What would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about ham-n-eggs?" The Pig thinks for a moment and says, No thanks. I'd...

Any word yet on what type of fish will be brought in for the upcoming rare fish auction in July? Has a supplier been chosen? Just curious.

Great event. I picked up Nanochromis parilus, Enigmatochromis lucanusi and Limbochromis robertsi. Really rare fish. Jeff did a great job curing the auction and providing background on the fish. Can't wait for the next one.

Yes it was a great meeting and a fantastic event.

The fish were really rare and really quite exciting bunch of fish.

Jeff did a bang up job with the fish and the presentation.

I picked up only one pair of fish as well the chromidotilapia guenthira "Lake Volta"

I want to say kudos to the club for getting this one right! :) Thank you to Jeff Michels for supplying a nice selection of uncommon South American and West African cichlids, and for presenting them in an informative, enticing way. Despite the tight quarters that was one of the best meeting I've been to in a while. We had eight bowl show contestants (I believe it was eight), somewhere around 20 BAP entries and, of course, the rare fish auction.
I only left with one pair of Thoracochromis brauschi, but there were several fish I bid on. I hope everyone else was as pleased as I am.

I just got word from my Peru supplier that the order has been delayed yet again! That means the Peru Apistos will not be here in time for the auction. There is a very real chance that I have lost several thousand dollars trying to bring this order in as Peru keeps giving me the run around (this order was scheduled to be right before Christmas, again on January 4th, and most recently January 10th). Hopefully the fish do come in, even delayed, as ANY fish for the money sent is better then nothing!

Here is most of the POSSIBLE fish for the rare fish auction. I'm still waiting on a few orders to come in so the final list will depend on what fills and what is ready to go on Sunday.

So how many bags of fish are normally at these rare fish auctions and how many members make it to buy them?
