Just like Mike said. The only exception is that the colors are randomly drawn. Usually by Zoe, our official color picker, or by another random child :)

There are typically 4 colors. You will receive a number of stickers equal to the number of bags you bring. Bring 40 bags, you get 40 stickers - 10 of each color. You place a sticker on each bag. The bags are grouped by color and only one color bag is auctioned at a time. Which color is first? Randomly decided by the auction chairman.

Is there any kind of order in which the fish are auctioned? What do the colored tags represent anyway - the order in which the fish are brought in, species, etc.?

LOL Mike! I was just busting chips back after the "be nice .... Official" remark. LOL

I don't need any angels. I have some Koi from Mario. Nicest angels in the state, bar NONE!

I thought you were a dog person? Did you buy a cat, too? Catfood.

Next week we'll have complaining that the bags went for too cheap. if you just wanna unload them, bring them. if you want to make a little dough, raise fewer and bring less. $.02

Shawn, rebags are $2.00 as of the last auction. And again, bring lots of Angels. I'm looking to stock up on em and when the auction gets flooded with em, I scarf em up on the cheap ;)

Per the auction rules you are allowed 5 bags per species/color morph. That gives you 5 bags of blacks, 5 bags of golds, and so on. There is no limit to the amount of fish in a bag, but lets be reasonable as we don't want dead fish in bags. DOA's will be rebagged at the sellers cost of 1 dollar.

It would be nice to have the official position of the club as it is not specifically clear.

I'll speak for myself, not for the club.

1 thing - If you bring 30 bags of angels, you may not like the price you receive. Especially if a lot of folks do it.

I thought the rule was with a fish like an angel - 5 bags total.

Where the 5 bags per morph came into play was with regards to, for instance, different types of stuartgranti peacocks. Different locations are distinct and if you x-breed them you will get an undistinguishable mess. Angels are angels - if you breed a gold to a black you wont get something new.
