Sometimes if they are out so something they will send you a bo notice and also credit your card for difference check to see if your card was credited

If you have proof that you actually paid for it and that they did not refund that amount, I'd let them know that I had proof (copies of paid invoice and back order slip) and that I was going to keep after it until I got an answer. I haven't had any problems with them. But they have less person-to-person contact than some other places. It almost sounds like they think they didn't charge you and don't have time to address it further.

Also, you could mention you've started a discussion on a website in re: unresponsiveness to a valid question. I will say that if I thought it was a one-time mistake on their part, I would probably continue to buy some of their exclusive products.

PS - If it gets resolved favorably, it would be perfectly appropriate to mention it here.

-- I was just wondering: has anybody ever had any issues with ordering from Ken's Fish online? I have purchased from them many times without any problems, but my most recent purchase - which dates all the way back to May of this year - was shorted an item worth $16. I received a back-order slip instead, but never received the product. I have tried to contact them several times (5 emails and 2 voicemails) without any response. My desire is to order from them again as they are my favorite online vendor of fish related goods, but I am hesitant because of the poor customer service I have received on this particular order. Any advice from my fellow fish fanatics?
