i fill a five gallon bucket and tie an air line to the end of a platic broom handle and then i just stir the water with the air fizzer at the bottom of the bucket, u can literally see the water clear.  works great

girl picked up at bar:  oh wow u have alot of fishies in here, arent they supposed to be gold, like goldfish...  why arent these ones gold, oh that one is so ugly, why would u have more than one tank....  (she carried on for about 10 mins).

me:  please get out of my house.

in the winter I always do small frequent water changes , 15% at least twice a week , also note no micro bubble problems here

yep. Best thing to do is make it so the water hits a rock before entering the tank, this usually gets rid of some micro-bubbles.

damn water is just so supersaturated with O2 and other gases that when it warms even a little bit it releases all that gas. Just need a few degrees warmer outside and it will be much better.
