thats what i was guessing, i use (aquirosal)??? not sure of the spelling as a so called preventive with every weekly water change, ive bought all my fish from the last two swaps, the corys are the only fish i bought from a pet shop(petland) and they will be the last, i just finished breaking down the tank, from what ive read you should always always always quarantine your new additions, and i also went out and bought a 30 gallon today just for this reason, ive also heard that many new fish added to a tank will get stressed and become vulnerable to ich, just blew my mind, to wake up and have something wrong with every single one of your fish, another question now, what aboout all my holey rock and filters, are they contaminated and what do you think i should do with them, all fish have been removed from the tank and have 100 percent new water in the tank

Chances are you got something from the corys (if those were the last additions to the tank). Ngara sounds like he was beaten up. They really can't hold up against Jewels or Green Terrors.

Not really sure what to treat with because your symptoms could be any number of diseases or parasites. Did you isolate the fish that you added last? This would be your best prevention in the future.

hey there, so im only a few months into the whole fish(cichlid keeping so bare with me) to make it easy, its 120 gallon, been running for a few months, ammonia at 0, nitrite 0, nitrate at about 10ppm, ph about 7.9-8.0, been running semi smooth up until last week, my fish have been falling off like flys, only new addition to the tank was about 6 medium sized corys to help clean up with the uneaten food, all but 1 died, my blood jewel was flicking on the the rocks for the past 2 weeks, raised the temp to about 82 and was adding aquarium salt every day with 20 percent water changes, i woke up today, one of my ngaras was dead under a rock,(failed to mention i checked all my fish, no white spots, no signs of ick, only fish flicking was the blood jewels, when i netted my ngara i noticed he had two distinct white patches on his underside, both about 1/8 of an inch long, my green terror noticed today had really long white stringy poo, one of the corys top fin looked like it had two small red balls on eitheir side!!!! WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPEND???? EVERYTHING WAS OKAY, AND BAM, I GET HIT WITHIN THE LAST WEEK WITH ALL TYPES OF PROBLEMS, i do 20 percent water changes weekly, always add aquarium salt and stress coat, dechlorinate my water, have heaters in the buckets set to the exact temp the tank is, so i figured the flicking mighta been a sign of ick, but the white stringy poo, the red rounded balls on the cory?? the nagara dead with white square patches, need someone to tell me what my options are, i pulled the cory out, the green terror out, the blood jewels, and flushed the ngara(was already dead) if someone can be of help id appreciate  it, again, i want to stress, no ammonia spikes, tank was fully cycled, all the fish(besides the ngara i noticed the past few days was non active and not intrested in eating) were fine and eating, its like i went from 0 to 100 in 2 seconds, not sure if i should break tank down and start fresh or what, cause at this point my remaining fish probably have internal and external parasites and ich, WTF??????
