Everything has been sanded with 180grit. Ready for stain if I want. I tried some poly on a piece of scrap. I like the look. I am going down to the garage now to do the bottom and top trim around the stand.

Here are pictures of the doors made. I need to sand them a bit but they are drying right now.

Here is the front of one.

The back has a rectangle the same size as the front. Just little details here and there.

What do you think?

Everything has been fine with the pine so far. Thanks for the heads up. I just need to back cut the panels, I don't like how they stick out past the front. Once I am done everything will be flush. Floor should be grouted Monday.

be careful when you are routing those raised panels, too close too a knot on pine and they blow up on you and it can be extremely painful

oh, and grout that floor would ya and when you're done I got about a 1000 ft here that will need to be grouted too  ;D

The hot pink will have to wait :P

Today I had a bit of time so I got started on the doors. Close to done with the building of these. Once thats done, some wood conditioner and some nice stain. Here are 2 pictures.

Then both side by side.

The grain isn't as far apart as on the other stuff, both boards are now replaced. It looks SHARP. The front of the stand is looking pretty good. This is going to be a looker for sure.

since you're buying the board to replace the bad piece I would also replace the other bottom board and the board on the right side and eliminate the knots on the front that you can see, I think the clear pine look on the front might have a nicer appeal and look, the sides you could leave knotted
